In the hallowed Destroyer discography, the early trinity of City Of Daughters, Thief and Streethawk: A Seductionholds an important place; for not only does it document Dan Bejar's evolution from lo-fi bedroom tyro to bona fide master of the rock album, it also contains a massive percentage of superlative Destroyer "classics." 1998's City of Daughters features some of the first steps out of the demo-tapey experimentation of earlier recordings, with songs like "Comments On The World As Will" refining the sound of that stripped-down earlier work, and the seminal "No Cease Fires" offering us the first taste of just what a full-band Destroyer might conjure. 2000's Thief naturally went further down that road, and from the opening strums of "The Temple" to the arty quirk of "Queen of Languages" to the gentle, jagged comedown of the title track, it soon became clear that Bejar was a master of a singular songcraft - and one that was only just getting started.

Great Quality!

I have owned many sheepskins before and this one is by far the best deal. Cheaper than similar sizes, but not in a bad way! It’s a beautiful creamy white, super plush, and is very long. We keep it on the back of our couch and it gives a very cozy vibe. I haven’t had any issues with it shedding.
Word of advice for cat owners: When we first got it, it did have a sheepskin smell but it isn’t a gross smell and it went away within a few days; however, my cat was very attracted to that smell and was “attacking” the sheepskin. We trained her not to do it just by spraying her with water—after a few times of that she stopped going anywhere near it. Now that the smell has dissipated, she isn’t attracted to it anymore but does like to sit on it every once and awhile (I can’t blame her, it’s sooooo soft). I saw someone else say their cat ruined their rug, so I wanted to give our story on how we prevented that and hopes it helps another cat owner. You just have to be alert for the first day, maybe even let it off-gas outside first, then keep a spray bottle nearby and the cat should stop messing with it!

Great little rug!

This nice little sheepskin rug is the perfect finishing touch to my little reading nook. It’s soft and thick. Follow the enclosed instructions to fluff it up. I was going to order a second one but saw that the price jumped nearly $10 in a week. It’s nice but it’s not worth that amount. I’d buy it on sale though. Five stars.

Feels good under feet.

I have full bed (see picture). It’s sheepskin rug from single pelt. Bigger maybe would be maybe nicer but there would have to be genetically modified sheep for bigger pelt or sheepskin from 2 pelts.
Price is fair in my opinion. Feels amazing to wake up and put feet on it.
Appearance is nice just look at picture.
I had fake rug in the past and feeling between this and the previous one is day and night. I like it and I love it.
Just measure your area before purchasing this product and you should be ok.

As a lover of sheepskin everything, I will say this is one of the best pelts I've bought. Very thick n fluffy, very soft, clean, and no smell...and the best price I've found as well.
