That is how a high application force is developed which effectively avoids the annoying slipping out of the screw, i.e. the so called Cam Out effect. Toes are grateful

I generally need more toe room in my shoes, but I don't need wider shoes. These are perfect for that. I took off one star because as I wash them , some of the stitching is coming undone. It doesn't seem to make a huge difference, however, so I still wear them. They are way too comfy to give up !
