Signed by Charles Addams, one of the cartoonists whose name, like that of Heath Robinson, has passed into the language. Since the 1940s, his sinister and morbidly eccentric cartoons have mapped an essential part of our comic landscape.

"New Yorker cartoons can be roughly divided into two classifications, which, back in the days when I was the most insanely miscast of an almost endless procession of art editors, were conveniently designated as "straight" and "nutty".....(the second type) of New Yorker art, rather menacingly displayed in the pages of this book, is harder to define, since it is less a criticism of any local system than a total and melodramatic re-arrangement of all life. Unlike the reportorial artist, whose scenes and personnel are ready-made, the man who draws pictures like those assembled here is obliged to create a nightmare landscape of his own and to people it with men, beasts, and even machines whose appearance and behavior are terribly at variance with the observable universe. He is, generally speaking, successful to the precise extent to which his creations seem peculiar, disturbing, and even outrageous to the normal, balanced mind. In my opinion, the subject of these notes--a man named Charles Addams--is one of the most outrageous artists in America in the sense that his work is essentially a denial of all spiritual and physical evolution in the human race. Some of this book is merely disconcerting--if, of course, it is no more than disconcerting for a couple in a hotel room to watch the sprouting of a pattern of knife points in the wall, unmistakably outlining a shrinking female form--but most of it is frankly devoted to man's crazy, triumphant return to the mud from which he came." Foreward by Wolcott Gibbs (1947)

Good fit, light weight, very comfortable
Special Size: Two Pack, Size: X-Large, Color: Black/Army Green
I've purchased several of these now and overall they seem like a decent buy for the price. They are very light weight and seem to retain their shape and avoid wrinkling when hung to dry after washing. Despite never seeing a clothes dryer however, the black variant still pilled up a bit after moderate use. There seems to be some variation in sizing: all the black and olive colored ones seem pretty consistent but the gray run small and the blue just a bit large (all purchased in XL, me at 6'3 and 225#)

Great with a great price
Special Size: Two Pack, Size: X-Large, Color: A-blue/Army Green
First off. I am female 5’10”. I thought the extra large fit great. The material is very soft and light. I think they’re warm though. I just washed them for the first time yesterday with dryer. Air dry. I’d like to see after a couple washes and know how the dryer affects it.

Great products, Great seller!
Special Size: Two Pack, Size: Medium, Color: Black/Dark Blue
I have ordered over $600.00 worth of goods from this seller. Every single purchase has been exactly as advertised. The gym clothing is made with quality materials and have held up great thru my 5 day a week workouts. I have also ordered some of their fitted shirts to wear with slacks and jeans. And again all the items are extremely well made, fit as expected, and are made with quality materials. I would highly recommend purchasing from this seller. The have never let me down.

Wide, feminine neck
Special Size: Two Pack, Size: Medium, Color: Black/Army Green
I ordered Medium, as I usually wear. I’m 5’11” 175lbs. The neck was very wide and cut semi/deep. It looked like a woman’s workout shirt. The material looks and feels nice, and other than the neck it fit true to size. I returned it because of how they fit in the neck.
