Hope and Healing with Always Within

Have you or someone you know experienced an infant or pregnancy loss? You are not alone. 1 in 4 people experience such a loss. Always Within; Grieving the Loss of Your Infant is like having a caring and compassionate support group at your fingertips. It's a compilation of stories from people who have had to endure such a loss. Over twenty parents have dedicated their time and energy to recount the events of the moments before and after their losses to help guide and alleviate some of the pain and confusion often associated with unexpected miscarriages and/or infant loss. Most parents who experience a loss of this nature have no idea what to do or where to turn. The loss of a baby or pregnancy can cause feelings of confusion and isolation.

Always Within; Grieving the Loss of Your Infant is a stepping stone towards healing.

Each chapter includes:

  • An individual heartfelt story to help inspire and comfort those who have lost or know someone who has.
  • Helpful advice from people who have been there, on how to cope with the devastating loss of a pregnancy or infant.
  • Thoughts on what family and friends can do and say to help during such a difficult time.
  • Ideas on how grieving parents can keep their child's memory alive through the years.
  • A comforting poem, quote or bible verse.

Melissa Eshleman lost her four-day-old infant son, Lucas on May 20, 2001. She is a member of several infant loss groups and found that by helping others she was healing in the process. Melissa worked together with other parents like herself, who have suffered the loss of a pregnancy or infant loss to create this book of hope and healing. Eshleman aims to assure readers that they are not alone & there is strength to be gained hearing from other people who have been in the same situation. Readers will also learn creative ways to keep their children's memory alive through the years, and will also gain inspiration through comforting quotes, poems, and Bible verses.

"When I lost my child, I did everything I could to find out how to deal with the intense emotions I was feeling, including reading everything I could get my hands on and joining infant loss groups," said Eshleman. "In this book, I have worked with parents across the country, and their stories--including their triumphs and challenges--provide inspiration to us all. Losing a pregnancy or infant is such a devastating experience for parents and don't forget, their families, which is why I hope my book helps people who are going through the grieving process," Eshleman said. "Through the power of people who know what it's like to experience such a loss, this book is like having a compassionate and caring support group right at your fingertips. When I lost my son, I was like a lot of parents in that I had no idea where to turn or what to do. I felt alone in my grief. I felt alone in this great big world," said Eshleman. "It took me too long to find infant support groups and to find comfort in reading the stories of others and recognizing that I wasn't alone in my grief. Others had been there and realizing that, is what helped me the most."

It's hard af.
Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small, Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small
Edit: just realized Amazon sent me a left handed one! I got this one and the g2 or whatever with the strap. The g2 is great. This one is hard though. The edges of the rest thingy. And the edges in the middle where it splits are annoying. Idk if it's a difference in the rubber pads or what. Even if this works for wrist pain, it's not worth it for the palm discomfort.

Ergonomic and effective, but requires adjustment.
Color: Right - White, Size: Large
Bought this for improving wrist posture during long hours at the desk. What I like • The ergonomic design helps reduce wrist strain, especially during extended typing sessions. • The right-handed orientation is comfortable and natural to use. • High-quality build, feels sturdy and durable. What could be better • It takes some time to adjust to the unique design, especially if you’re used to traditional mice. • The size may not be suitable for people with smaller hands. • It could be a bit pricey compared to other ergonomic mice on the market. Bottom line: A great investment for improving wrist posture and reducing strain, but it might not be for everyone due to the learning curve and price. Perfect for users looking to enhance ergonomics, but consider alternatives if you have smaller hands or need a more budget-friendly option.

It’s painful. Not worth it.
Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small, Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small
I hate it. Period. Very strong feelings about it right out of the box. Gave it a few days, and not only do I still hate it but it’s very painful to use. The rubber material is hard and has pressure points that make you come away feeling like you’ve rested your wrist on the edge of a table for too long. I come away more sore using this than not. They only have small and large sizes, I think the small is too small for me? (I’m not sure. I can tell it doesn’t fit well, but I can’t tell if it’s because it’s too small or the shape isn’t right for my wrist). In any event, I am sure the large would be too large and even if they had a medium size I still wouldn’t repurchase this. Maybe if you’ve got some meat on your bones it would be more comfortable but as you can see, I am a very thin person and this is pressing on all the wrong places. I also feel like the center valley part contributes to carpal tunnel pain because the very firm edges of each side rested right in that area, not offering any support to the valley of the wrist, and therefore creating pressure to that nerve center and the ligaments. I don’t know why they chose this material, it’s too firm. Also, I think a better design would be a little tab from the center of it sticking out and then attaching to the bottom of the mouse so that both mouse and the wrist “support” worked as one unit when moving the mouse around. I often found that I didn’t drag the wrist piece with my mouse well and that it caused even more issues. If it were comfortable I would have made a little tab myself and connected the mouse and the wrist rest together, but as it’s extremely not even remotely comfortable I’m not bothering and I’ve already started the return process.

Quality Product, Definitely Recommend
Size: 17.2"L x 3.15"W x 0.78"H, Color: Black Walnut, Size: 17.2"L x 3.15"W x 0.78"H, Color: Black Walnut
Looks and feels great. Amazingly smooth, and well-crafted. It fits the length of my keyboard, and has quality grippers on the base to prevent sliding. Was actually really pleased with it.

High quality solid wood rest
Size: 14.4"L x 3.15"W x 0.78"H, Color: Black Walnut
This wrist rest is nicely finished and was well packed in high-density foam as well as a cardboard box that was wrapped very tightly in thick plastic. It's sanded very, very smooth and is made of beautiful solid walnut, with nonskid pads on the back. The branding is on the side that touches the keyboard, so it is not visible or obtrusive at all. My keyboard is 15.5 inches long, and the 14.4 inch rest looks great up against it. The 0.78" thickness is also very suitable for the thickness of my keyboard. The product gets 5 stars because it is accurately represented and this is entirely down to personal preference, but something about this rest that I don't love is the degree of incline. I have my keyboard up on the kickstands, and the wrist rest that I already owned slopes pretty dramatically starting from the middle, so it follows the angle of the keyboard. The ZQL wrist rest is about 75% flat and then has a small slope that rounds off on the bottom edge. Again, this is very much a personal thing; I just brought it up because it's something that people might not think too much about until they actually use it. I think this rest would be great for anyone with very large hands, or with a flat keyboard. It's taking a little getting used to for me, but I really enjoy the smoothness and obvious quality of the wood. A wrist rest is an ergonomic must when it comes to thicker keyboards.
