Double vinyl LP pressing. Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard are Dead Can Dance. Their music began as collages made from musical lineages, lost tribes and cultures long since forgotten - and by giving new life to so much from the past, they created a genuinely timeless body of work. They shared vocal responsibilities, and while Perry was certainly capable of haunting subtleties and real sonority as a singer, it was more often Gerrard's rhapsodic vocalizing that drew the attention of critics and fans. In a sense, Gerrard didn't simply sing for Dead Can Dance: she made sounds with her voice, and turned that experience into something much larger and more far-ranging than mere singing. On their eponymous debut album, originally released in 1984, Dead Can Dance successfully harnessed a bewitching barrage of sounds, layering grinding guitars and even a dulcimer-like yang chin over a taut wash of percussion. If the range of the group is staggering, then so too is their disciplined economy, no song lasting more than four minutes or degenerating into formless cacophony. With the group members continually interchanging instruments, only the vocals of Gerrard and Perry remain as a constant focus.

Perfect for heavy chewers

These toys are so impressive! We purchased them as a gift for someone with a very aggressive chewer that LOVES stuffed animals but then makes a huge mess with all of the fluff. It’s a small to medium size dog. These toys were a great size for him and one little hedgehog lasted a whole entire week before it got its first hole chewed into it. This is outstanding quality as many other plush toys that are supposed to be durable last about 5-10 minutes for him. The fact that the hedgehog squeaks keeps his attention and then when the hedgehog is chewed up he has a cute sensory ball to play with instead of making a stuffing mess. Absolutely great product.

Best plush ever!!! My boys absolutely love it; they normally destroy plushies within 5 minutes but they’ve both been carrying theirs around all day. The lack of stuffing means I won’t have an explosion to clean up, and the squeaker is huge (it’s the main bulk of the body) so I don’t have to worry about them accidentally swallowing it. Great size, well made, great texture/materials.

Sturdy and cleans teeth!

My chihuahua and I play catch with this hedgehog chewy and it's perfect! It's very slightly large for him but he likes carrying it, can do so well, and it cleans his teeth! Plus the large squeaky insight gets him pretty excited. I appreciate the slightly lower tone. Also, the items arrived NOT soaked in fragrance like so many pet products. Very grateful. 5 stars!

Squeaky Ball Doesn’t Squeak for Long

My large dogs like these, though their teeth punctured the squeaky ball inside almost immediately. So, the ball inside is not durable. They still play with them though and I like how there’s no stuffing inside.
