The DX-5 supports an extensive array of sources including PC-USB up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD 4x (with DoP), Coaxial and Optical digital inputs (up to 24-bit / 192kHz), and aptXTM HD and AAC Bluetooth for high-resolution wireless audio streaming. An RCA analog input provides connectivity to all legacy sources such as CD players and turntables with line level outputs.

HDMI ARC with CEC furthers the versatility of installation options allowing seamless TV audio integration creating a 2.1 home entertainment solution utilising the included subwoofer output. Digital-to-Analog conversion is rendered by a premium 768kHz ESS ES9039Q2M Sabre DAC with an ultra-low noise floor presented on a wide soundstage.

The front panel features a high-resolution full-colour TFT display for intuitive setup and operation, a precision volume control, and a ¼-inch (6.35mm) headphone jack for private listening.
