"This book supports my own 30-year crusade to demonstrate that games are an art form that undeniably rivals traditional arts. It gives detailed explanations of game art techniques and their importance, while also highlighting their dependence on artistic aspects of game design and programming." -- John Romero, co-founder of id Software and CEO of Loot Drop, Inc. "Solarski's methodology here is to show us the artistic techniques that every artist should know, and then he transposes them to the realm of video games to show how they should be used to create a far more artful gaming experience ... if I were an artist planning to do video game work, I'd have a copy of this on my shelf." -- Marc Mason, Comics Waiting Room Video games are not a revolution in art history, but an evolution. Whether the medium is paper or canvas--or a computer screen--the artist's challenge is to make something without depth seem like a window into a living, breathing world. Video game art is no different. Drawing Basics and Video Game Art is first to examine the connections between classical art and video games, enabling developers to create more expressive and varied emotional experiences in games. Artist game designer Chris Solarski gives readers a comprehensive introduction to basic and advanced drawing and design skills--light, value, color, anatomy, concept development--as well as detailed instruction for using these methods to design complex characters, worlds, and gameplay experiences. Artwork by the likes of Michelangelo, Titian, and Rubens are studied alongside AAA games like BioShock, Journey, the Mario series, and Portal 2, to demonstrate perpetual theories of depth, composition, movement, artistic anatomy, and expression. Although Drawing Basics and Video Game Art is primarily a practical reference for artists and designers working in the video games industry, it's equally accessible for those interested to learn about gaming's future, and potential as an artistic medium. Finally, a Calm That Feela Natural
Size: 90 Count (Pack of 1)
I've tried a lot of "calm" supplements over the years, and Nature's Way Calm Aid is one of the few I've actuallt reordered.
I started taking it during a stressful stretch at work when my mind wouldn't slow down at night. Very shortly after taking it I felt more settled and less on edge. it takes the edge off without making me feel like I'm dragging through the day.
The softgels are small and easy to swallow with no weird aftertaste. This has been a real game changer for me.
If you're looking for something subtle but effective to help you stay calm and focused, CalAid is definitely worth trying.

Great Addition to My Daily Routine
Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Excellent Quality MCT Oil — Great Addition to My Daily Routine
I purchased this MCT Oil and have been very pleased with it. It is light, smooth, and easy to add to my daily routine without changing the taste of my food or drinks. I especially like that it mixes well in coffee, tea, smoothies, and even oatmeal. It does not have a strong flavor or unpleasant aftertaste, which makes it very convenient to use every day.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this MCT Oil to anyone looking for an easy way to add healthy fats to their diet. It is high quality, easy to use, and a great value for the price. I would purchase it again.

Great for carnivore.
Size: 30 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Great quality oil for Carnivore / Keto!
A few precautions:
- Start slow; too much too soon will cause gastric issues. 1/2tsp for the first few days, then increase to 1tsp for a few days and so on until you work up to a level you can tolerate. Get a shot glass with measurement lines.
- Stay hydrated. MCT is a diuretic and may cause headaches if you are not hydrated. Consider taking some electrolytes with it and plenty of water.
- If you find it gives you jitters; consider taking it with food. It can cause a little bit of a "high" if your not used to the immediate energy / mental clarity boost; which may freak some people out. Taking it with food will slow down the onset so it's not hitting you like a ton of bricks.
- I personally don't mind the texture but it definitely goes down easier if it's cold; ymmv. No taste, but it's going to make your mouth feel oily for a minute.

Good quality oil, but the dispenser is a nightmare to use
Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This MCT oil is truly odorless, colorless, and tasteless. While the oil quality itself seems good, the dispenser on the cap is terrible. I understand the design is meant to keep air out, but you have to squeeze the bottle quite hard to get any oil out, making it impossible to control the flow. Every time I try to pour a small amount onto a spoon, it shoots out and splatters all over my hands and the counter. Now, I just take the entire cap off, pour it onto the spoon, and close it back up. Great oil, but the bottle design needs a major update.
