Thorbjorn Risager & the Black Tornado - Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado: Talent, dedication and perseverance As this band enters it's fourteenth year, they really seem to be on the verge to a success that will open some new doors, in new territories. And with all the hard work they put into this project, they surely deserve it. - Parallel to writing, recording and releasing new material with 12 - 18 months' interval, they have kept touring all over Europe, plus a tour to Canada and a spot at Asia's biggest blues festival Mahindra Blues in Mumbai, where they shared the stage with Buddy Guy. They play 100 gigs per year, and they have performed in 21 countries. Remarkably enough, only two musicians have quit the band since the start in 2003 and they have worked with the same agency, Westman Music, since 2005. This is a hard-working band, and they really stick together through thick and thin. They are united through their talent, their dedication and their perseverance! - This guy is a singer's singer, but maybe born too late, because if he had been doing this job in the '50s and '60s and lived in the USA, surely he would be a legend by now. Protected my kids through 7 hours of sun and water—no burns at all!

This sunscreen is the real deal. We spent a full day, about 6 to 7 hours, at a water park under the blazing sun. My kids were running around nonstop, in and out of the water, and we reapplied every 30-45 minutes.
Not a single sunburn. Their skin looked exactly the same by the end of the day, no redness, no irritation. Meanwhile, I skipped sunscreen and got absolutely fried. Lesson learned.
Goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave a sticky residue, and held up amazingly even with water play. I’ll be buying this on repeat all summer.

Smells great. Tough to remove.

The smell is great and very nostalgic, but it has a sticky/tacky feel on the skin. It's hard to get off even with a lot of scrubbing with soap and hot water. They weren't joking that it stays on through water and sweat.

A TERRIFIC FIND FOR US IN ECUADOR

Here in Ecuador, this product isn't even available to us. I have the most precious 20 month old girl living with us and of course I wanted to get a quality product at less cost. This fits the bill. With an SPF 100 rating from a decades old and trusted manufacturer and a price that is less than one third of what I would have to pay for any sort of water resistant equivalent, this was a no brainer.
If you buy this product, please read the instructions and follow them. It is a spray product that great care should be used to avoid spraying directly on the face--------- either your own or the child's. Spray it on your hand and apply it to any face that needs it. It's convenient for neck, shoulders, backs and legs due to its spray delivery.
Our little 20 month old must be part fish because she loves the thermal pools we take her to and this product seems quite durable

SPF 100 FTW
Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I find it very important to have strong sunscreen. Thankfully I found this with 100 SPF. So glad plus I’m happy that I found it in spray because it’s so much easier to apply the kids and then I just have them rub it in. It also makes reapplying so much easier because just start spraying and have them turn around and around that you’re good to go.

Not eczema skin friendly

Since I didn’t remember which sunblock spray I had previously purchased (that was super awesome), I got this one with a few other ‘kid’ sunblock spray and stick. I had grabbed this one for a splash pad birthday party this weekend only to find out it’s messy and not eczema skin friendly. Either we got a defective bottle or it’s just the way it sprays: runny goops of sunscreen that takes awhile to dry properly (see photo). And when it dries it really does stick onto your skin as advertised (aka not breathable, pore clogging, will irritate sensitive/eczema prone skin). My youngest has eczema prone skin (that’s been flare up free for 3 years) had a severe break out on her arms after using this. And even for the sake of photo demonstration for this post my own sensitive skin got red/irritated.
So does it stick-yup. Is it messy? Definitely. Easy to apply? No (your kiddos have to stay put until it dries). Did it provide sun protection? Maybe…? Sensitive skin friendly? No. Eczema skin approved? Definitely not. Recommended? Nope. We threw it away and requested a refund.
