The catalogue for the sale of Elsie de Wolfe's art and furniture collection housed in the Villa Trianon at Versailles. The sale included drawings and paintings by artists such as Boucher, Carmontelle, Fragonard, La Tour, Pillement, Tiepolo, Romney, Messel and Vertes. Also auctioned was Lady Mendl's fine collection of French furniture and objets d'art, including a single lot comprised of the 'Décoration de la salle de bal'. There are six images of the furnished Villa before the collection was dispersed.
