In 1946 DELMA’s first chronograph equipped with a mechanical hand-winding movement represented the beginning of the brand’s expertise in sports watches. 75 years later, the Heritage Chronograph celebrates the development in popularity and everlasting style of this classic timepiece with tribute to its original design and pioneering functionality.

The rose gold Heritage Chronograph LE maintains the same essential features of the original design with modern functionality and scale. The bespoke tachymeter can be used to calculate speed, specifically units per hour.  The Telemeter, featured on the inner ring of the perimeter was innovated to measure the distance between the timepiece and a visual element through the speed of sound. Three elongated lines on the minute counter at 3, 6 and 9 minutes, originally used to time phone calls at payphones add a subtle hint of nostalgia.

Cathedral shaped hour and minute hands in a blued finish with old radium luminous markers stand out against the silver sunray brushed dial and guilloche pattern sub-dials. Coordinating luminous Arabic numerals displayed in a bold typeface along with the subtle date window at 6 o’clock provide modern convenience and style. The decorated automatic movement with customized DELMA rotor is visible through a transparent case back. The brown genuine leather strap is molded for a natural finish.
