We’re excited to introduce our candle making workshop at Modern Zen — a guided, hands-on experience you won’t want to miss.

Step into the Modern Zen studio and create your own custom scented candle in a relaxing, hands-on experience designed to inspire creativity and connection.

Whether you’re planning a girls’ night, date night, birthday outing, or simply looking for a unique experience in Berea, Kentucky, this workshop is your chance to slow down, get creative, and make something truly your own.

Your reservation includes our Artisan Glow experience, featuring your choice of vessel from our Artisan Glow collection to create one custom 7–8 oz handcrafted soy candle with a clean-burning cotton wick, plus your personalized fragrance blend created during class.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through the candle pouring process, including fragrance selection, wick placement, and pouring your own luxury candle inside the Modern Zen studio.

You’ll have the option to upgrade your vessel in-store by selecting from our Modern Classic or Zen Luxe collections for a more refined, design-forward final candle.

• Candles require time to cool and properly set after pouring. Pickup will be available the following day during regular store hours

• Seats are limited, and reservations are required in advance

• This is a reservation-only, in-studio experience

• Each guest attending must have their own ticket/reservation

• This workshop is for ages 13 and up only

• Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian due to hot wax and heated equipment used during class
