This cushion is part of the Jane collection, a limited edition series defined by a thoughtful composition of colour. Both the front and back are made from the same hand-spun artisanal cotton bands, woven on traditional looms in rural villages in West Africa.

On the front, bands of different colours are brought together in a balanced and considered arrangement, creating depth and rhythm through subtle contrasts. The back is finished using the same cotton bands in a single, unified colour, offering a calm and cohesive counterpoint.

Each band is individually hand dyed using natural pigments derived from roots, berries, bark, leaves, and mud, resulting in nuanced tones and natural variations in texture.

Due to the handcrafted nature of the materials and process, no two cushions are ever identical. Variations in colour, weave, and texture are inherent to the fabric and are part of the authenticity and individuality of each piece.

The cotton bands are ethically produced and support artisan communities in West Africa.

Each cushion is designed and assembled in Belgium.
