This DAF 105 Super Space Cab has a curtainside trailer in the authentic green and red livery of the well-known Gloucestershire based third-generation family firm of Moreton C Cullimore. The company, founded over 75 years ago by Moreton C Cullimore, has long been associated with the business of aggregate and road haulage in Gloucestershire and the surrounding area. His son Roger joined the company in 1961, taking on the role of Managing Director in 1969. Upon the death of Moreton in 1972, Roger became Chairman , a position he still holds today. More recently, in January 2010, Roger passed the Managing Directorship to his son Moreton F Cullimore, although he continues to play an active role as Chairman.
Today the Cullimore group of companies operate a fleet of more than 80 vehicles, comprising a general haulage fleet of tractor units and a variety of trailers to cater for almost any load operating at up to 44 tonnes gross, carrying 29 tonnes. The transport yard and facilities are based on a 23-acre site at Netherhills, where they benefit from the excellent road links, being situated only a mile off the M5 motorway.
