Add standard and properly diluted sample into relevant well respectively. After incubation, wash unbound components. Add biotinylated detection antibody. Then, it binds with GJB6

The Human GJB6 (Gap junction beta-6 protein) ELISA Kit measures GJB6 in Human Cell or Tissue Lysate. This kit is based on Double antibody-Sandwich ELISA detection method and takes 4h assay time. The microplate provided in this kit has been precoated with anti GJB6 antibody. Add standard and properly diluted sample into relevant well respectively. After incubation, wash unbound components. Add biotinylated detection antibody. Then, it binds with GJB6 bound to precoated antibody. Wash unbound components and add HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate (SABC). Wash unbound components again and add TMB substrate solution. Then, TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that turned yellow after adding a stop solution. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader. Calculate the concentration of GJB6 in the sample by plotting standard curve. The concentration of the target substance is proportional to the OD450 value.

I really liked that each dermaplaning blade is individually packaged, which helps keep them clean and sanitary until you’re ready to use them. As a hairstylist/barber who works with sharp tools every day, I did not feel like these blades were particularly sharp. That may actually be a positive for someone who is new to dermaplaning and wants something a little less aggressive. I used them on dry skin, but you can also use a facial oil for more glide. They did a nice job removing peach fuzz and left my skin feeling smooth afterward. Just be sure not to use them over active acne or irritated areas. While they worked well on facial hair, I didn’t notice much additional exfoliation from my first use. I’ll continue using them every couple of weeks and see how they perform over time. Overall, a decent option, especially for removing peach fuzz.
