It is compatible with the Ryobi One+ lithium ion batteries and the older NiCad models, so if you already have any Ryobi tools, you can use this one, too. Handle this in most any condition with the rubberized grip. With Ryobi and the trusted One+ battery system, you simply cannot go wrong.
