Everybody poops (weird sometimes)! A coprolite is fossilized excrement, colloquially called “dino doo.” The inexpensive specimens most commonly found in the market today likely aren’t from dinosaurs though, some are masquerading as dino doo. I have most frequently seen this Madagascar material attributed to prehistoric turtles that once roamed the area.

There is some debate whether in fact these are even true coprolites however, or simply unfortunately (or… fortuitously?) shaped iron concretions. I find the cololite argument compelling, 'cololite' meaning intestinal casts preserving the twists and folds of some creature's intestines. Whichever way, I'm skeptical that turtles were this prolific of defecators based on the number of Madagascar "coprolites" on the market.

When you see the variety of shapes these specimens come in, they are pretty convincing as coprolites. I have a hard time not keeping every well-formed piece I come across, building my own private pseudo-Poozeum. The material is composed of siderite and other ferrous (iron-rich) minerals that limonized, indicated by the crackling. Broken or polished pieces can have lovely colors similar to low-quality petrified wood or jasper, with tones of brown, yellow, orange, and red.

Sure you could make your own for free, but these "coprolites" are an inexpensive conversation piece—and always a great gift for kids!

Good quality dog ball for playing fetch
Size: Medium
My dog and family love these chuck it balls to play fetch with our dog. They are durable and fun. They squeak which is added fun for any dog! Regular tennis balls my dog chews apart and they get pretty gross after playing and being left outside. These can be easily washed off and cleaned. These balls last! Would recommend to anyone with a dog and would purchase again.

Picky dog approved!
Color: S6-muti-color, Color: S6-muti-color
I have wasted so much money on dog balls that they won't even pick up! They finally were obsessed with the Kong rubber green/blue or red/blue ones, but they're $3+. each, and they break from the dogs squishing it. I honestly had zero expectations on these, and they BOTH picked them up on the first throw! That's huge!! Seem to work fine in the ChuckIt. As for the squeaker, at first I was like "Oh nooooo." when they both loudly started! Much to my (and my neighbors') happiness, the squeakers stopped working after a couple minutes. 🤣

Durable

The balls are great for chewers. The squeaky didn’t last long but they are perfect for the ball launcher.
