As Aline Coutu sits in a pew, listening to the eulogies given for her beloved husband of fifty-six years, she begins to recall her life with him, expounding on the deep love and dedication they undisputedly shared for over half a century. In addition to touching on the family difficulties of her own childhood, Aline takes the reader on a journey through marriage, children, death and most importantly, what it means to live. From the beginning of their marriage, a marriage her mother said would never last, Aline and Al know this is a match made in heaven. They work at various occupations and eventually plan and build a unique residential equestrian center housing thirty or more horses and accommodating guest riders from throughout the United States and several countries abroad. Through it all financial worries, health and family issues, and the fear of the unknown Aline and Al love each other unconditionally, together like newlyweds throughout their relationship. Thanks For The Memories is a profound autobiography that will encourage readers to believe in the simplicity of love while inspiring them to never settle for anything less.

About the Author

Aline Coutu is a retired administrator and marketing and advertising director living in Fort Myers, Florida, and summering in Narragansett, Rhode Island. For twenty-five years, she and her husband Albert owned and operated Honey Lane Lodge and Equestrian Center in Dublin, New Hampshire. Aline has three surviving children: Marc, Jean Michel, and Elisabeth. She enjoys attending live theatre, traveling, painting, being at the beach, bicycling, and entertaining at the piano. As an avid rider and trail guide for many years, Aline now enjoys attending horse shows to see her granddaughter Victoria in riding competitions. Aline is currently gathering documentation for another book about her son Jack who, despite having a very dim prognosis after brain surgery, lived an active, happy, and courageous life for nearly four additional years. Thanks for the Memories is probably the most enjoyable book I have ever read. I could not put it down. I finished your book with tears in my eyes, and it takes a lot to make me cry. Thank YOU for the memories. Armand Boucher, retired store manager Camilla and I read the book aloud, and laughed and cried through it all. You are such a good storyteller. Thank you so much for such a wonderful book. Professor Frank Weiner, University of Rhode Island I read Thanks for the Memories and it blew me away... I didn't want it to end. Ella Buzzotta, portrait artist I could not put the book down. As I was lecturing the following morning, I went to bed and tried to sleep, but could not. I continued reading the book through the night and to the end. This is one of the most wonderful books I have ever read. Nikki Gazis, V.P., Global Friendships Your book is wonderful. Such amazing memories and such an inspiring story. Dr. and Mrs. Malcolm Bowers, Yale University Your book is wonderful, full of happiness and sadness. Beautifully written. Reading that last chapter about Albert was truly an emotional experience. I will treasure this book. Judson Hale, Editor in Chief, Yankee Magazine

Very nice shirts but unusually long sleeves
Size: Large, Color: Light Green
PJ PAUL JONES Mens Dress Shirts Wrinkle Free Stretch Button Down Shirt. I bought white, coffee, grey, autumn green and apricot. Colors are true to the ads. I'm 6' , 170 lbs. I bought these in Large. They fit very well in shoulders, chest, and my big belly. As many reviews have stated, the sleeves are unusually long - coming down past my palms to my fingers. I would give them a 4 rating for that but I bought them with the intention of making them short sleeve. The white shirt is just too nice to change so I'll reserve that for weddings and funerals. The apricot is very nice but I just wouldn't wear that color as a casual shirt but it does go with my brown blaser so I'll keep it for rare occasions. I washed them in warm and put them thru warm dryer and didn't notice any shrinkage which I wouldn't expect with polyester. Very good shirts at very good price.

A Solid Buy
Size: XX-Large, Color: Black
Purchased this shirt to wear to a concert. I love the material because it's stretchy and flexible unlike the traditional cotton. It's mainly wrinkle free but I ran a warm iron to get out the creases from being folded. I wore this with gray pants and it made my outfit feel put together. The sleeves are very easy to roll up and won't come undone. A very nice shirt to add to your clothing collection.

Good looking shirt that runs a bit big in sizing.
Size: X-Large, Color: Green Gray
Nice looking shirt for dress up or casual wearing. Feels like silk, pretty wrinkle free. Lots of colors to chose from at a good price. Runs a bit big in size. I found the sleeves very long for me. But I like the casual look, feel and coolness in the heat of summer for a long sleeve shirt.
