Aspen Storage Mods Expand the Capacity and Functionality of your Aspen Universal A5 Journal/Planner Cover

  • Removable mods expand Aspen storage to fit your favorite stationery addiction.
  • Mods fold open to access both sides and reveal Aspen interior pockets.
  • Five different storage mods to choose from.

  • Made in Chicago and guaranteed for life.

Customize the internal storage of the Aspen by adding a storage mod that matches your personal stationery addition. The five options include various zipper pouches, pen/pencil holders, and multiple sizes of pockets. The mods clip into the inside cover and easily flip open and closed. For the right-handed version of the Aspen, the mods clip into the left-hand cover when open. For the left-handed version of the Aspen, the mods clip into the right-hand cover when open.

Mod 1: Zipper Pouch

The zipper pouch is a great choice to corral a bunch of smaller items: markers, pens and pencils, paper clips, post-its, money, earbuds, chargers, etc.

Specs:

  • Height: 8.75 inches (22 cm)
  • Width: 5.5 inches (14 cm)
  • Weight: 2.9 oz
  • 5 YKK coil zipper.

Mod 2: 4X Fountain Pens

We designed the 4x fountain pen mod with the fountain pen enthusiast in mind. Each sleeve is sized to accommodate a large fountain pen (or other large pens you want to protect individually). Slide the entire pen into the sleeve to protect the clip, or leave the clip on the outside for easier access. The tapered bottom lets you decide how much tension will hold the pen in place, so even vintage pens can be safely secured with a gentle touch.

Specs:

  • Height: 7.25 inches (18.5 cm)
  • Width: 4.5 inches (11.5 cm)
  • Weight: 2.8 oz
  • Generously sized for large pens or markers, but also still a snug fit for smaller tools.

Mod 3: Fountain + Zipper

This mod is a mash-up of mods 1 and 2, giving you the best of both worlds. Keep two special pens protected but still have a catchall place for smaller items. Note that the zipper pocket doesn't extend behind the pens. When we tested that design, the contents of the zipper pocket made this mod too thick. This half-size zipper pocket still has plenty of room for some stationery, cartridges, vials of your favorite inks, or other small items.

Specs:

  • Height: 8.75 inches (22 cm)
  • Width: 5.5 inches (14 cm)
  • Weight: 3 oz
  • Half-size zipper pocket size: 8.75 x 2.5 inches (22 x 6.35 cm)
  • 5 YKK coil zipper.

Mod 4: Slim Pens + Zipper

This mod has a full-size zipper pouch on the back and sleeves for five smaller pens or markers (up to .5" in diameter) on the front.

Specs:

  • Height: 8.75 inches (22 cm)
  • Width: 5.5 inches (14 cm)
  • Weight: 3 oz
  • Zipper pocket size: 8.75 x 5.5 inches (22 x 14 cm)
  • Pen sleeves lined with 12 oz bull denim on the backside to protect the pens from the contents of the zipper pouch.
  • 5 YKK coil zipper.

Mod 5: Slim Stationer

The Slim Stationer is a Bullet Journaler's dream. On the front, it has slots for five small pens and a pocket for miscellaneous items at the bottom (notes, receipts, extra lead, erasers, etc.). The back has a slot for longer items like rulers to help with your spreads and two more pockets for other items. The inside of this mod is also a pocket to hold larger notes, stencils, or smaller pocket notebooks like a Field Notes pocket journal.

Specs:

  • Height: 8.75 inches (22 cm)
  • Width: 5.5 inches (14 cm)
  • Weight: 3 oz
  • Inside pocket size: 8.75 x 5.5 inches (22 x 6.35 cm)
  • Bottom front pocket size: 4.5 x 2.25 inches (11.4 x 5.7 cm)
  • Back left tall pocket size: 8.75 x 2 inches (22 x 5 cm)
  • Back top right pocket size: 5 x 3.25 inches (12.7 x 8.25 cm)
  • Back bottom right pocket size:3.25 x 3.125 inches (8.25 x 7.9 cm)
  • Fully lined with 12 oz bull denim lining.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.
