The Rapid Combat Support Ship (AOE) is the Navy's largest combat supply ship.åÊAOE has a fast enough speed and defense system to ensure her battle with the aircraft carrier battle group.åÊIt can quickly replenish the Navy's battle group and carry more than 177,000 barrels of fuel, 2,150 tons of ammunition, 500 tons of dry cargo and 250 tons of frozen food.åÊThe AOE collects fuel, ammunition and cargo from passing ships and redistributes them to the aircraft carrier battle group.åÊThis reduces the weakness of the supply ship that needs to call the port to replenish the cargo.åÊThe Sacramento is considered the benchmark for the construction of ships on the West Coast.åÊShe and her sister ship are the largest ships ever built on the West Coast.åÊOnly the Iowa-class battleships and aircraft carriers have a larger tonnage at the Pisa Clamento class.The Sacramento was commissioned on March 15, 1964 and retired in 2004.

Incredible reading
Format: Hardcover
I bought this just before Christmas when a guest speaker talked about it in our church. I immediately looked up and bought it right away. This is a quality book. Hard bound with heavy gloss paper and nice art inside and out. But the real value is inside. I couldn't put it down. If you've ever wanted to know more indepth details about the Christmas story, a detailed and true explanation of the birth of Jesus, this is the book to buy. It's worth every penny. If you've ever had questions like: why those shepherds? what made them so special? details about the "wise men", why do only Luke and Mark detail these events, why Nazareth? and so much more... buy the book! I took my book over my daughter's house for Christmas Eve with her and her kids + a few friends. They aren't all as familiar with scripture as my husband and I are, but I've insisted on continuing the tradition my mom started of reading the Christmas Story before we open any presents. I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool! It's so factual, it will speak to those who are kind of "on the fence".

Want to know the back story behind Christmas? Rick Renner is a scholar and pastor extraordinaire! He delves into the Greek and highlights many details that you may have passed over in scripture! This is a wonderful read, the artistry is beautiful and he has written a back story for Easter also if you love this one. You will not regret getting this book!
