Spray Of Leaves - Vintage Marcel Boucher Gold Tone Leaf Brooch.  This lovely brooch is crafted from a gold toned metal, signed Boucher, and numbered  8919 p. Featuring Vintage styling and quality craftsmanship.  This Vintage brooch is designed on the form of a leaf, which displays beautiful wire-work. The central portion features 3 brushed leaves with a high polished stem.  The pin is secured by a lock mechanism, in perfect working order. This Vintage brooch is highly collectible, high quality,  and simply wonderful! 

History: Born in Paris, Marcel Boucher worked as a jewelry designer for Cartier, who brought him to the United States. In the 1930s, he took a job with Mazer Bros., where he worked until he founded his own company in 1937. Boucher made a name for himself creating bold, imaginative, enameled pieces that were individual works of art, with brooches shaped like fruits, animals, and human figures.
