The way sound healing instruments such as singing bowls and gongs have been played has remained mostly unchanged for thousands of years. The Musical Mushroom Starter Kit welcomes you to the digital era with new patent pending technology that can be harnessed to enhance these time-honored instruments while preserving their traditional essence. 

The Musical Mushroom enables controlling a traditional singing bowl or similar resonant instrument electronically using a small removable exciter coil glued to the inside surface of the bowl. This new approach replaces the use of the traditional mallet.

It is designed to work with crystal singing bowls. Metal signing bowls are not recommended because of their non-uniform surfaces that are difficult to mount to and more complex harmonics.
