Swapping transmission in your Fourth Gen F-body means finding the right transmission crossmember, or modifying the one you currently have. This could lead to damage or failure of the crossmember, and possible damage to the transmission. BMR Suspensions Transmission Conversion Crossmembers replace the stock stamped steel crossmember with a strong tubular crossmember that bolts in the factory location and has the correct mount for your new transmission. BMR's Transmission Conversion Crossmember for Camaros (TCC009) are manufactured from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing with laser cut, CNC-formed 3/16-inch steel plate. This allows you to put a TH350 or Powerglide automatic transmission in your LS1 equipped 1998-2002 F-body
