He builds tools (both computational and cognitive) that make data science easier, faster, and more fun. His work includes packages for data science (ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr), data ingest (readr, readxl, haven), and principled software development (roxygen2, testthat, devtools). He is also a writer, educator, and frequent speaker promoting the use of R for data science. Jennifer Bryan is a Software Engineer at RStudio and a member of the R Foundation. She part of the tidyverse team that collectively maintains >150 R packages. Jennifer maintains packages for importing tabular data (readxl, googlesheets4, readr, vroom), working with Google APIs (googledrive, gargle, gmailr), and simplifying development workflows (reprex, usethis, devtools). In her first career, Jennifer was an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of British Columbia, where she created courses and programs in what we now know as data science.Shipping Notes

White film left
Style: SPF 30, Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I know that mineral sunscreen is the best. But this one will leave a white film on you. I have used other sunscreens that work without the white film.

You get Zink, but no “tropical” scent
Style: SPF 30, Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Great product. I wanted a Zink based sunscreen for my face, but I was hoping it would still have the Sun Bum traditional “tropical” scent.
Sadly nope.
I’m mixing it with the traditional Sun Bum 30 so I can get my tropical feel while keeping my face safe from sun damage. Hopefully I don’t turn green :)

Perfect After-Sun Lotion
This lotion feels amazing after being out in the sun all day. It keeps my skin soft and hydrated without feeling greasy, and the scent is light and tropical. I also love the subtle glow it gives my skin. Great size for keeping in a beach bag or taking on vacation. Definitely recommend if you want your tan to last longer and your skin to feel moisturized.

Smells Devine
I got this Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Lotion to use after long beach days this past summer, and it quickly became part of my routine. It feels soothing on the skin after sun exposure and absorbs nicely without leaving a greasy layer.
What I noticed most is how well it helps maintain my tan. My color seemed to last longer and fade more evenly when I consistently used it. I even saw a difference when I was using tanning beds — my skin looked more hydrated, which made the tan appear richer and less patchy.
The scent is another highlight. It has that classic tropical fragrance that instantly smells like summer vacation — warm, beachy, and nostalgic without being overpowering.
I’ll definitely be repurchasing before my upcoming vacation because it makes such a noticeable difference in how my skin looks and feels after sun exposure.

Better than expected!
I was pleasantly suprised by this lotion. I bought it to help maintain my self tanning lotion, and also for days after being in the sun. The lotion is not too thick and not sticky. The scent is tropical and nice, bit it’s not too strong. I will buy this lotion again.
