This has helped increase the diminished bluebird population. This cedar bluebird house home creates a comfortable nest for bluebirds. The 1.5" diameter entrance hole is specifically designed for bluebirds, and the absence of a perch keeps other birds out. A ventilation gap at the top of the front panel keeps the home cool, while gaps in each corner of the base allow any excess water to drain. The 0.75" thick cedar construction aids in insulating the bluebird house, and the blue color of the lapped roof adds drama. A laser etched image of a bluebird perched on a stump rests on the front of the home, for added interest and effect. One side panel lifts upward, making cleaning and nest checks simple. I had a previous catch all tray that I bought on amazon, it used buttons on the 4 corners to turn a flat cardboard into a tray. Over time, the catch all tray got filled up, not just with a wallet, keys and eyeglasses but eventually business cards and other knick knacks.
