The space between the 4'3 and the 4'8 is where a lot of intermediate and advanced riders want to be. The Florence 4'7 sits there. 49 liters and 20.5 inches wide for a takeoff that matches the 4'8, with a pulled-in nose and tail that rolls rail to rail once flying. This is a limited run shaped by Jon Pyzel with John and Nathan Florence. Built on the LCS platform, so wings, masts, and propulsion swap across the Lift lineup.

  • Pulled-in Nose and Tail: The nose and tail pull in tighter than the 4'8, moving mass closer to the rider's stance. Less swing weight once flying, without losing the volume forward that makes the takeoff clean.
  • Attention in the Details: Raised edges along the rails, a tail kick pad, foot strap inserts, and leash plugs. The rider gets a tactile reference point for their stance and the security to push the board harder without losing the pad under their feet.
  • Shaped by Jon Pyzel: Jon Pyzel shaped the board with what Jon Florence and Nathan Florence wanted to see. A shape that is built for performance but stays approachable for more riders. Pyzel took the brief and shaped the 4'7.
  • Direct Drive with Quiet Ride Technology: Every Lift propulsion runs on a direct drive motor, which delivers power more efficiently than a gearbox drive and runs quieter in the process. Quiet Ride Technology manages the rest.
  • 32" 55mm Low-Mount Propulsion with Next Gen Folding Propeller: The 55mm motor stays submerged providing consistent thrust when on power. The LCS Folding Glide Propeller has a narrower blade that collapses tight when the motor cuts, providing smooth on-power transitions and clean glide when off power.
  • LCS Architecture: Wings, mast, and propulsion swap across the Lift lineup without tools. The 4'7 runs the same components as the rest of the LIFTX and LIFT5 range, which means your setup carries over and future upgrades drop in.

Humorous intro-level book to AI
Format: Hardcover
If you are new to the field of AI, this is a fun read. The author does a fine job breaking down complex topics into bite-size, entertaining sections. However, if you are not new to the field of AI, you'll probably find this book boring and will find more joy in visiting the author's popular website. Personally, I find this book forgettable and not living up to the hype.

Captivating storytelling and educational material
Format: Paperback
My ten years old boy loved WW2 in Europe: Great Battles for Boys. He likes to read about war and it his third book from Joe Giorello. It is an engaging and easy-to-understand account of significant World War II moments designed for young boys. It has pictures and maps so they can have a better understanding about the War and through captivating storytelling and educational material, it provides a valuable introduction to this crucial era, promoting a greater comprehension and respect for the experiences and achievements of individuals during that time.

Why are these books so hard to find in libraries and bookstores??!
Format: Paperback
Bought nearly the whole book series after reading the reviews. My 8 and 10 year old boys love these books. My 10 year old read the first book on his way to and from soccer practice. He couldn't put it down and kept telling me what he read. My boys have read all the "Magic Treehouse", "I Survived" and some "I Escaped" books, as well as "Big Nate", "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", etc. BUT these battle books are the best. They really teach about the history of the wars which have shaped our modern times. WHY are these books so hard to find in libraries and bookstores... at least in Maryland? Maybe because "Great Battles for Boys" reeks of toxic masculinity? I really wonder. In any case, great books especially if you want your boys to read serious, informative books that are interesting and entertaining.

Great for boys AND MOMS
Format: Paperback
Saw an ad for the series online and wanted to buy just one book to try. Received with 2 day Prime. Book was new. So, not only does this book have an incredible, intriguing story that sucked in my 10 year old who hates reading and struggles to read, it had me at Hello. The beginning of the book is filled with recipes! Was totally not expecting that! So for this Momma, under promise-over deliver was the theme here. Purchasing the rest of the books! Also look online for worksheets that parents have put together to go along with these books. Totally worth it. Happy Reading! AND Cooking!

Great reads for all levels
Format: Paperback
I bought 2 for a 6th grade boy I tutor. He has a beginning interest in history. He's been 'eating' these books up! These are well written, but not complex to turn a young reader off. There are many alternative resources to listed to dive into if a particular person or event sparks interest with the reader. There is appropriate vocabulary with explanations on some- others open a chance for my student & I to have a deeper discussion to clarify meaning & connect information.
