Fans of the Berlin based Nils Frahm are by now familiar with his beguiling live shows where more often than not fellow touring artists are encouraged to join Frahm on stage - the likes of Rachel Grimes, Rob Lowe of Balmorhea as well as label colleagues Peter Broderick and Ólafur Arnalds have all obliged with fascinating results. It will come as no surprise then that Nils Frahm, an accomplished composer and producer who signed to Erased Tapes in 2009, has extended his collaborative live musings to encompass the recording studio, working for the first time with noted cellist and fellow Berliner Anne Müller to produce 7fingers. With their first collective release Frahm and Müller have built a world where modern classical and electronica collide creating an 'intoxicating and delicious' collection of songs. Primarily a pianist Nils Frahm provides evidence with 7fingers that he can effortlessly turn electric throwing in loops, samples and glitches to accompany and showcase Müller on cello. Anne Müller, a renowned musician noted for her work with the Wolf-Ferrari-Ensemble, Phillip Boa and recent tours with Agnes Obel, proves an amp musical partner for Frahm. As the recognition continues to grow for Nils Frahm's previous solo piano works Wintermusik and The Bells, 2011 sees a new side to this young talent as he embarks on a detour into strings, symphonies and glitch beats alongside the estimable Anne Müller.1. Truly non-toxic but a little rough and uneven
I’m very impressed with the packaging of this. When I first opened the box I was shocked that there was a plastic wrapping around the boards when they promised to be non toxic but then I saw the sticker that the wrapping was not plastic and I was very happy. The boards themselves are pretty nice and a good thickness but the only thing is I feel like the board is a little rough and parts of the board come up and are not smooth.

Not Durable…Splintered….
Had to chuck these. I loved them at first but they are not durable. Scratched themselves up right away and then the mid sized one started to splinter. I didn’t even have it for very long before I had to get rid of them. Long enough to not be able to return. I prefer the bamboo as far as wood goes, but switched to an antibacterial. It’s crazy because I had the same cutting boards for years and in the past month I’ve had to replace them 3 times now. I was so disappointed because there were such amazing reviews. Sadly that was not the case for me. I give it a 3 because they are absolutely beautiful…..you get points for being beautiful I suppose in this world. But not durable. At least not for me.

This is Mike Wittmer at his finest
Format: Paperback
If you are at all familiar with Mike Wittmer's books and devotionals, you know he has a sharp wit and an engaging style. This book delivers both in abundance. With clarity and conciseness, Mike walks through 40 well-known theological concepts popular among Americans. Although he writes from an Evangelical perspective, Mike brings his trademark honest critique to each topic, admitting his own biases while still highlighting the validity of other viewpoints. His explanations, critiques, and examples will make you laugh and think, and I truly believe this book would make a great basis for a Sunday school or other church education series.

Fortunate to buy this book
Format: Kindle
Fantastic book, packed with well written information and interspersed with humor. Well worth the price, I will now have to look for more of Wittmer's works, and hope he has more coming in the fashion of this one. This is the 3rd Urban Legends of the bible Ive read in the series and also the best.
