Hope That Lives is a Bible study written specifically for cancer patients. This work came out of author Kim TurkingtonÕs own experience with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2005. It is KimÕs hope and prayer that the insights and direction the Lord gave her will prove valuable to others going through similar experiences with cancer.
The orchid design theme in the book is symbolic of the strength and beauty of Christ-centered relationships that were so important to Kim during the months of her treatment. A friend gave her a gorgeous orchid plant that kept its huge, beautiful blooms during those months and served as a reminder that the help and prayers of friends and family were crucial to her healing process.
