Now and Then" was the last new Beatles song to be released in November 2023, and it has thrilled and moved fans around the world. Originally, as part of an anthology project in 1995, the three remaining members of the Beatles recorded "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love" based on John's demo material and completed them as new Beatles songs, which were included in Anthologies 1 and 2, respectively. They were also released as singles as "New Beatles Songs. The new song "Now and Then," which was supposed to be included in Anthology 3, was never released because the sound quality of the demo tape could not be improved, and it was not completed in time.

CD1 contains various sound recordings of "Now and Then" in chronological order, tracing the history of the song through its twists and turns. It starts with the complete reproduced version including the "missing B-melody" that was not used in the completed version, and then includes the original demo sound source, which was said to have sounded bad and could not be improved with the technology of the time. Both the noisy version that caused problems and the clean version that was removed afterwards are included. Also included are various fictitious anthology versions that were considered unfinished at the time. Each of them is highly complete, and it is interesting to compare them with the present version.

CD2 contains the versions and remixes of "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love," respectively. The Beatles have been releasing new songs for more than half a century since their breakup in 1970, and they are still attracting attention with their new releases. This newly edited collector's item from the DAP label is a sequel to the previous "REUNION" album!
