Originally scheduled for release on Halloween 1985 this all female Post-Punk/Broken-Folk collective concept LP was resurrected from the ashes of the original line-up of the Fall and Velvet Underground singer Nico's Blue Orchids backing band at the command of pioneering Manchester female punk icon Una Baines before disappearing into the annals of UK punk purgatory. Comprising all the DIY traits and snarling attitudes of Manchester's smartarsed punk retaliation, with haunting mechanical folk, pastoral drones and a back story that unites sleeve artist Linder Sterling (Ludus), Spider King, Martin Hannett, Tony Baines, Martin Bramah and John Cooper Clarke with the 16th Century Pendle Witches, this virtually unknown LP is a vital missing piece in Manchester's self-help anti-pop industry. Lost in the ether, lauded by collectors and likened by Mark E. Smith to the Third Ear Band this unclassifiable arty-fact renders tags like Pagan punk utterly redundant.

Luxurious? Um, absolutely!

Oh wow, I love this. Thick and cozy, lovely to sit on. I draped this over an old garage sale recliner that suffered an astonishingly bad upholstery choice decades ago and despite still being in good condition, it's quite unpretty. This skin covers nearly the entire back and most of the seat of that unpretty recliner, and now it's actually rather attractive and I love to sit there, surrounded by this thick, lovely long wool. A bit sheepy smelling at times but I haven't minded. A quick shake restores its appearance. It arrived quickly to my door and came with a brush, which I haven't needed to use. Really, really glad I bought this.

Worth every penny.

It has been my experience that this rug and this company is fabulous if you need or if you want something that’s rich well-made well thought of sheepskin rug you can’t go wrong with this company they take pride in their work I mean by this if you want a sheepskin rug buy from this company. This was the one that I bought and I cannot tell you how gorgeous it is. It saves money because it costs money when you buy cheap you buy twice you buy this. You can forget about it. That’s how good it is.. The weight is perfect. The color is rich and the price there is really no price for something. That is excellent because I’ve been looking around for rugs like this for different creations and decorative tableau and there’s a lot of junk out there..

Not as pictured, but ...
Buyers should note that the advertised photo shows a white rug with gray tips, but the rug I received has a lot of yellow in. Despite the difference, I've decided to keep it because it is a beautiful rug and very soft.

This rug is a fabulous quality for the price!! Thick, soft, great looking. They ship it with a brush and a storage bag... highly impressed. This is my 3rd fur shag from this company. I have 2 cream ones in my master. Im going to order a black one too, just to change it up.
Zero smell, functional, nice size, durable... im in love!! It would look very cool on a chair, the back of a couch next to the FP, or even on a bed.... authentically pleasing for sure.
