Acclaim, exhaustion, over and out. Teenage Fanclub's early years were propelled by that kind of frantic energy (thankfully without the flameout). As outliers of the sound of young Scotland's second wave, they released five albums in their first six years together. The foundations of their national-treasure status were already laid. The tenth Teenage Fanclub LP-Here-arrives six years after the release of 2010's hugely acclaimed Shadows (described by Uncut as "the sound of a great group ageing gracefully"). Here is the work of a band entirely confident in their own craft-the consolidation of nearly three decades of peerless songwriting and almost telepathic musicianship. Recorded with the band's soundman David Henderson alongside regular drummer Francis Macdonald and keyboard player Dave McGowan in three distinctly different environments (initially at Vega in rural Provence, then at Raymond's home in Glasgow before mixing at Clouds Hill in the industrial heart of Hamburg), it's a record that embraces maturity and experience and hugs them close. As ever, song-wise the Fanclub present a textbook representation of democracy in action, the record offering four each by Blake, Love, and McGinley. From the almighty chime of opener "I'm In Love" ("We will fade into history, I'm in love with you love... And I like your trajectory, I'm in love with you love") through the ecstatic soul-search of "The First Sight" ("Will I ever get to see the first sight of a heart that's true?") and the paean to unerring friendship "With You" ("I will hide with you from sadness, and bad philosophy / I will laugh with you at madness, and learned stupidity"), Here is a collection of twelve songs about the only things that truly matter: life and love. As is befitting of a record that took it's time to arrive, Here uses reflective space to dazzling effect. "Steady State," with it's gorgeous ebb and flow, has echoes of The Notorious Byrd Brothers' astral jangle, while "I Was Beautiful When I Was Alive" unexpectedly curves off from dreamlike beginnings into a semi-acoustic/motorik outro, sonically replacing the steady beat of the German autobahn with the vast open skies of the Pacific Coast Highway.

The best no sugar natural fiber
Even if you have no problems with your dietary system, fiber is an excellent way to protect your lower GI system. I use the no sugar version as I want the fiber, but I want the extra carbs in the regular version. Regular no sugar is fine, and has no problems with taste. Every so often, I treat myself to this better stevia sweetened version. I don’t take either one 3 times a day, as recommended, but I do take it every morning. If you like the regular sugar free version, give this a try. Since I take it every day, I do like occasionally switching to the better version.
Read the labels of your fiber supplement products, if you take them. Very few give you the amount of fiber that this does, and you control exactly how much fiber you want. If you read up on the benefits of adding to your daily fiber intake, you will wonder why you haven’t been adding this to your daily healthy supplements This is a very effective way to protect yourself, and most other products don’t come close!

Great product for bloat and regularity
This works! I try to take a big tablespoon in the morning and if Im feeling bloated maybe one at night. Within a day or two, it helps you get regular! And it makes you go..and not loose, runny stool either. It leaves with that “empty stomach” feeling. I have this set up on auto delivery. Its a bit expensive but like that it has stevia, so am willing to pay the extra. It tastes like OJ but drink it asap or it becomes thick and slime like within a few minutes.

More expensive and not as sweet as regular Metamucil, but no aspartame
I switched to the Stevia variant of Metamucil to cut down my daily intake of aspartame sweetener. The taste definitely isn’t as sweet and invariably some might not like that. I thought the same initially, but after a few dosages of the less-sweet Stevia Meta I’m now use to the taste. For me—less aspartame in my diet is more important than having an overly sweet product. The product functions the same way and is very effective in keeping you regular and the additional fiber in your diet is very important. Try it, but keep in mind it may take some time getting use to the less sweet flavor.

Incredible…
This stuff is incredible. I used to take a psyllium supplement semi regularly but would always stop after a week or so of getting tired of it. This stevia version of Metamucil is better than any fiber I’ve ever taken. Tastes great, dissolves immediately, works incredibly well, and doesn’t get old or repetitive like other versions. Flavorful but not overly sweet. It’s amazing what it does to your poops too. Unbelievable.

Not real sweet, but no sugar
I have been taking Metamucil with real sugar regularly for 20+ years. I became concerned about the amount of sugar I was consuming daily and cannot tolerate aspartame. So, I jumped to buy this when I saw Stevia. I quickly noticed that this version is not sweet. It’s sort of bitter. Also, the texture is different due to not having sugar granules mixed in. It also converts to a gel like texture quicker. I later noticed you use less of this product per serving than the one with sugar (read the label!). I have found the best way to take this is to very quickly (seconds) consume the serving after adding water. Don’t wait too long. I down it like taking a shot out of a shot glass followed quickly by a glass of water. After a while, I got used to the flavor. Overall, I am pleased I am consuming much less sugar and really don’t notice the change anymore.
