Product Overview

This Sun Gold Power 12,000W 48V split-phase pure sine wave inverter charger is built for battery-based power systems that need stable 120V and 240V AC output for real household and commercial electrical loads. It converts 48V DC battery power into clean AC power, while also handling AC battery charging and automatic transfer switching in one unit. That keeps your system layout simpler and helps the power setup behave more like a built-in utility source for backup, off-grid operation, and day-to-day power management.

Split-phase output delivers both 120V and 240V AC, which supports typical mixed loads without forcing workarounds. The output waveform is pure sine wave, designed for stable power delivery. With 12.0 kW continuous output and 36.0 kW surge power, this inverter charger is sized for systems that need strong headroom for start-ups and short-duration demand spikes. Output frequency is selectable between 50 Hz and 60 Hz, supporting different site requirements.

This unit includes a built-in automatic transfer switch with a typical transfer time of 10 ms. In practical terms, that supports steadier power when switching between sources. It also supports configurable AC or battery priority operation, so the system behavior can be set based on how the site wants to use AC input and battery energy. Automatic generator start support and remote control give additional control paths for larger battery systems where generator runtime and oversight need to be managed. Battery temperature sensing is included for better visibility and charging management within the system’s supported operation.

On the charging side, it accepts 240V AC input and supports an AC input voltage range of 184–253 Vac or 140–270 Vac, with AC input frequency listed as 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Charger current is up to 115 A with a charger breaker rating of 80 A. Charger output voltage is dependent on battery type, and it is compatible with multiple battery types including lithium, gel, AGM, and lead-acid. For standby efficiency, idle power consumption is listed at 40 W with power saver on and 180 W with power saver off.

  • Remote control
  • Battery temperature sensing accessory

Best For

  • Residential backup power using a 48V battery bank with 120V and 240V loads
  • Off-grid systems needing 12.0 kW continuous output and 36.0 kW surge power
  • Commercial or mixed-load sites that require split-phase 120/240V AC output
  • Systems that recharge from 240V AC input with adjustable priority behavior
  • Battery banks using lithium, gel, AGM, or lead-acid
  • Generator-supported setups needing automatic generator start support and remote control

Why This One Makes Sense

This inverter charger fits installs where you want battery power to run the site in a steady, predictable way. You get 12.0 kW of continuous pure sine output with 36.0 kW surge for demanding start-ups, plus split-phase 120/240V support for mixed household and commercial loads. AC charging from 240V input with up to 115 A charger current supports recovery and daily management, while configurable AC or battery priority modes keep operation aligned with how the system is intended to run. Add a built-in transfer switch with typical 10 ms transfer time, remote control, battery temperature sensing, and automatic generator start support, and this platform is set up for real backup and off-grid use without extra complexity.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
