Iron workers, construction crews and munitions makers show us the gritty, tiring work of a community and emphasize the man and animal power once common in industry. There are social changes as well, like the coming of women to the workplace. Shirtwaisted ladies at the Illinois Watch Company and "Rosie the Riveter" on the production line during the war make their appearance. Aerial views of the downtown area present a century of change in Springfield. The evolution of transportation in the community is chronicled, from horse and buggy to the railroad to the automobile. Images of ladies cooking at Temple and crews preparing community garden plots showcase the city's volunteer service heritage. Commonplace images of life in Springfield, such as children at play, shopping, parades, and the first day of school, are all presented here. But the less common events are included as well: fires, the race riot, even a baptism at Lake Springfield. Together, these images tell the story of who we were, and perhaps more importantly, who we have become as a result. My favorite low socks ever

Under armour adult essential Lite no-show socks are 96% polyester and 4% spandex footwear of imported origin. The polyester content of the socks enables them to hold their shape in a better manner along with having a non-absorbent nature. Additionally, it enables the socks to retain the colour in a better manner. Spandex improves their fit along with helping them last for longer time.
The flat fit construction of UA Men's Essential Lite is so designed to conform to foot for superior touch and feel. The material wicks engineered within the fabric dry sweat quickly and keep the feet fresh. The embedded arch support further keeps you going by reducing foot fatigue. The set comes with 6 pairs of socks with pull on closure for the perfect fit.
Ultrathin lightweight construction of the socks adds to user comfort by allowing users to conduct physical activity and work out while wearing it. Elastic strength of the socks prevents them from slipping down irrespective of the shoes they are worn with.
The socks come in 8-12 men shoe size and 9-12 women shoe size. They can be machine washed and are extremely durable while being cost effective.

Love these socks!

Thin

I bought these thinking they would be slightly thicker material. They are thin but don't make my feet sweat working outside in the heat while wearing them during my work shift. They are comfortable and stay in place so I don't have to keep fishing for them inside my shoe to move them up a bit.
The one thing I wish they had was the support band in the middle of the foot.
