During my formative years, I realized that questions pertaining to God and Jesus were not merely abstract philosophical questions. These beliefs constitute the core of one's worldview. As such, their pervasive influence as to how we lead our lives is relevant and consequential. All my life I’ve been haunted by this burning question: Is physical reality all there is?

This book is an attempt to engage in a rational inquiry into the very heart of spirituality. To be sure, questions about Jesus and God are metaphysical in nature. And as such, science cannot enter this domain. Rather, as the great philosopher Immanuel Kant admonished, any individual pursuit must push to the epistemological limits of science. Any remaining gap is to be filled with faith. This is my journey! I welcome you, fellow traveler.

About the Author

Vince Procopio was born in a small village in Italy and came to the United States at the age of seven. By the age of thirteen, Vince began his life-long passion of weight lifting, which he continues to the present day.

He dropped out of high school to volunteer in the United States Marine Corps in 1968. After serving a one-year tour in Vietnam and under the auspices of the GI Bill, Vince became a full-time student through the summers from 1970-1983.

His greatest passion has been learning and trying to understand the miracle of life.

New husky has more energy than an entire pre-school - even being walked more than three miles a day wasn’t sufficient to drain her excess energy. I threw the dice on this - and it’s AWESOME. Comes with an extra rope and an extra side piece. Rechargeable with a USB-C cable. When you turn it on, the blue LEDs flash, the entire device buzzes, bounces, and races back and forth across the floor. After a couple of days of uncertainty, my new husky LOVES this. She chases it around, grabs it by the attached rope and carries it from room to room. After a short bit of activity, the toy goes into ‘sleep’ mode, until either the dog touches it again or a timer has elapsed, and then it fires up and starts buzzing and racing around the floor again. From a full charge, the toy will keep your dog entertained all day. Bright orange color makes it much easier to find when it’s rolled behind the toilet (as it did this afternoon). Sturdy. Highly resistant to chew damage. If this one wears out or breaks, I’ll absolutely get another one.

I bought this for my 80+ pound Goldendoodle, and he absolutely loved it at first. He barked at it, chased it, and it gave him some great exercise and stimulation. It definitely kept his attention and was fun to watch him play with it. Unfortunately, once he was able to get it in his mouth, he chewed the orange end off fairly quickly. The company does include an extra replacement piece, which is actually a great idea and appreciated. However, he ended up chewing that one up too after a few more play sessions. This toy worked well for short-term play and entertainment, but it’s not durable enough for large dogs with strong chewing habits. I think this would be much better suited for small to medium dogs. Great concept, but I would not repurchase for a heavy chewer. Picture of my dog for size reference!! 🫶🐶
