The GaraDry® 15mm high garage door floor seal kit forms a watertight seal between the garage door and the floor against standing water and wind-driven rain up to 15mm high. The threshold seal also prevents leaves, dust, and debris from being blown under the garage door, keeping the area clean and dry.

As well as weatherproofing your garage, our 15mm garage door floor seal can also prevent mice and other small rodents from squeezing underneath the gap between the door and the floor. The yellow line provides a highly visible warning for people or vehicles passing over the threshold seal.

What sizes are available?

This threshold seal is 15mm high, and 85mm wide. A wide range of lengths are available to suit all sizes of garage door from 2.21m (7’3”) up to 6.17m (20’3”). Select your desired length from the dropdown box above.

How does it work?

The threshold seal is glued to the concrete floor, tight against the back of your garage door, forming a 15mm high watertight barrier. It is supplied with a specially formulated adhesive & sealant which ensures water cannot seep underneath, and that the threshold seal will remain in place even with a car driving over it daily. The highly visible yellow line acts as a warning to help prevent trips and accidents.

What type of doors can it be used on?

The garage door seals can be used on all types of domestic and commercial doors, including up-and-over, sectional, roller shutter, and side-hinged doors. The threshold seal can be safely driven over with most vehicles as it has a weight limit of 2722 kg. It is not suitable for forklift trucks, vans, lorries, tractors, pallet jacks etc., or high traffic areas like parking garages. Our range of commercial door thresholds can be used for heavier vehicles or high traffic areas.

What material is the garage door floor seal made from?

Our seals use high quality, long-lasting PVC material. The material is odourless, and UV stabilised, so it will not decay or lose colour with prolonged exposure to water or sunlight. The material will maintain its original extruded shape and not become brittle or crack. Due to the high performance of the PVC material, we offer a 5-year warranty on the threshold. This material is also recyclable.

What Makes GaraDry® Threshold Seals An Improvement Over Competitors?

GaraDry® pioneered several innovations in the garage weather seal market which have now been adopted by our competitors, but never matched in their implementation. Our innovations include:

• Our specially formulated adhesive designed for bonding concrete and thermoplastic together to ensure it is impossible for water to seep underneath. The increased strength of this adhesive ensures it will remain in place even with cars passing in and out of the garage daily.
• The bottom of the threshold seal has a unique, serrated groove design. This increases the surface area, maximising the strength of the bond formed and providing optimal conditions for installation.
• A centralised, raised hump design which allows easy installation due to the symmetry of the seals. This provides a dam to stop water ingress up to the height of the seal but can also be utilised as a water diverter when installed on the driveway.
• Highly visible, yellow warning lines which run the full length of the product, helping to minimise accidents when entering and exiting the garage. These warning lines are co-extruded, making them an integral part of the product and will not disappear or wear away, until imitations from competitors which are painted on.
• Due to the unique design, robust testing, high quality PVC material, and quality-controlled production process, we offer a 5-year warranty on all products. We have been operating for 15 years and many of our original seals are still going strong.
• 6 different heights of residential seal, from 15mm up to 50mm high, in a range of lengths, providing a large selection of seals to solve a range of different water ingress problems, from wind-driven rain to flooding and everything in between. When we started only the small threshold seals were provided.
