Thunderstars is a shoegaze/dream pop band from Austin TX. The band formed in the fall of 2018, and marks the return of longtime Margot & the Nuclear So and Sos multi-instrumentalist, Erik Kang (vocals, guitar, keys). Thunderstars came together when Steven Bednarski (drums) posted a random thought about creating a band to use a phrase that was coined by his toddler during a traumatic trip to the hospital. This "art out of chaos" theme has hung over the band since it's inception... After their second live show, Thunderstars bassist, Omar Richardson, was assaulted outside the venue, which resulted in a concussion and subsequent trip to the ER. This incident was covered extensively in Austin news. On the eve of a week-long recording session, the primary studio engineer had a family emergency and had to cancel the project. Rather than scrap the time, lodging and airfare that was already committed, Thunderstars made the decision to track the album in a storage unit. The whole album was recorded by the band and longtime Kang collaborator, Sean Gardner (through an interface borrowed from a big box music retailer). Gardner, who was initially brought in to track auxiliary guitars on the record, became the key producer/engineer on the project. The end product of this recording session is Number Stations, a hazy mix of 90's Creation bands with clear artifacts from Kang's time on the road and Gardner's keen ear for production.Appalachian Spring Break 6:03Oceans 3:14Not that Far 5:03Ride 4:37Sleepyhead 7:06Riptide 4:10Oscar 4:16

Excellent value and has saved me from the sun!
Fit Type: Regular Fit, Color: White, Size: Large
I ordered this large mans shirt because it was 100% cotton and long sleeve. I am a woman and use it to protect myself from the sun walking my dog, very stiff at first, but comes out with several washes. I love the shirt!

NICE Shirt that SHRINKS!!
Fit Type: Regular Fit, Color: Blue, Size: X-Large
Loved this shirt right out of the package. Put a little steam pressing on it and it was perfect. Has a thicker softer feel than most casual dress shirts. Ordered XL with the "regular" fit and it could be worn tucked or out without it looking overly blousy. SADLY, after a first wash on cold and tumble dry low, and pulled it out early and it shrunk by almost a full size!!! The sleeves, length of shirt and overall fittage shrunk so that now it fits like a snug large. I've never had a shirt shrink like this, hence, the one star off. I would have given it 2 stars off, but the original quality of the shirt is nice, just beware of the shrinkage factor. Don't put it in the dryer at all, only air dry it. I'm tempted to reorder another but just then never put it in the dryer.

Nice shirt, could be more "slim fit" in LG size...
Fit Type: Slim Fit, Color: White, Size: X-Large
This is a very nice shirt, good quality, reasonable cost. I am 6'-3", 190 lbs. ,33" waist, 44 chest, a slim (not so young anymore) athletic build:)
The Medium size was a good chest & waist fit for a slim fit look, but the arms were too short. I had to go with a Large size for the sleeve length. With the Large size, the chest is good, but the waist is a too loose for me to be a "slim fit". I am keeping the shirt anyway, it's very comfortable with soft & thick material.
