The K&N 69-2541TB Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Chrysler PT Cruiser models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-2541TB air intake comes with a rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the turbocharger inlet for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive blue powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory crank case vent hose and a replacement silicone vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Very comfortable and light weight

For what I would spend for one pair, I got three. Not knowing what size I wanted, I chose the three pack and I am glad that I did. I generally only wear stud earrings because of the weight and I don't like things dangling and touching me. So far, I have only used the smallest pair and like them. They are big for me but for most people probably wouldn't feel all that large. I am not certain that I will use the medium or large pairs but maybe some day I will feel dangerous. If you aren't sure what size you will feel comfortable with, I would suggest this package and try them all to see what your style might be. They are a good value and are light weight.
