O autoru:
Dr. sc. Boris Obsieger, redoviti je profesor, najprije na Tehni_kom Fakultetu Sveu_ili_ta u Rijeci, a potom i na Tehni_kom fakultetu Sveu_ili_ta Jurja Dobrile u Puli, gdje dr_i nastavu iz elemenata strojeva, _vrsto_e, robotike i numeri_kih metoda na stru_nim, sveu_ili_nim i doktorskim studijima. Odr_ao je vi_e pozvanih predavanja na inozemnim sveu_ili_tima, bio je pokreta_em i predsjednikom me_unarodnih kongresa CADAM te pokreta_em i glavnim urednikom me_unarodnog _asopisa Advanced Engineering. Autor je brojnih ud_benika na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku na sveu_ili_tima u Rijeci, Puli, Mariboru i Moskvi, te brojnih znanstvenih radova.
