Vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release by this solo project from Dan Barrett, the man behind Connecticut-based Have a Nice Life, Giles Corey, Enemies List and countless other endeavors. Titled Is Doomed, this seven-song album is available courtesy of The Flenser label. The majority of the tracks on Is Doomed are brand new, although the release boasts a mastered version of the widely circulated song "My Body Betrayed Me," which has been available on Bandcamp and made waves immediately upon upload. Like all of Barrett's projects, Black Wing was self-recorded at home, but this process was a bit different for him. At the time, Barrett was having some health problems-the first serious health issues he'd ever had-and was "surrounded by all sorts of machines, lots of beeps and boops and what have you. I had a heart monitor strapped to my chest for a month. I was dripping a lot of blood all over the place. It was all very undramatic and fleshly and strange. I didn't know what to make of any of it. Meanwhile, it was a beautiful, hot summer, sun everywhere. So I decided to just go ahead and make a depressive chill wave record-basically, music to listen to in the car with the windows down while feeling slightly melancholy and distracted." The resulting seven tracks are gloomy yet uplifting, heavy while ambient, overwhelming yet alluring, resulting in one of the most remarkable electronic releases of the year.

It does exactly what they say it does! Worth the money

It arrived quickly. It’s a fun toy! It’s the right size for cats. Definitely worth the money. It is exactly as described. So far, the quality seems very good and it seems durable. The instructions are on the side of the box, which makes learning how to operate it easy. I love it that it’s red, because my kitty seems to be attracted to red. My kitty is very interested in it, yet isn’t quite sure what to think of it. I love that it changes directions on its own so that it doesn’t get stuck or lost under furniture, which is typical for a ball that cats play with. It seems to only go two, three or four feet in one direction and then it changes directions, which is both good and bad. I just wish it would go farther in one direction before changing directions so that my kitty could chase it farther, as we have plenty of space in our house for her to run. But that certainly could be a plus for other cats, enjoying not knowing where the ball is going to go next and really keep them on their toes.

Cat loves this

This toy is great for keeping pets entertained. The ball moves quickly and the tail makes it even more fun for cats to chase. It’s rechargeable and easy to use, and my pet stayed interested much longer than with regular toys.

Really cool cat toy for even the most picky cat!

I love it, wow. Our cat is picky with toys, but even he was intrigued by it. It really kept his attention, which is hard to do. It comes with three modes: fast, slow, and interactive. The only thing is that hair can get all trapped up in it because it's a wheel, so keep your house clean I guess lol. The tail also came off once, so you gotta snuggly get it on up there. Really cool cat toy though, I'm happy I got it lol

Not worth the money

My small Chihuahua loved this toy. It kept him entertained until it would stop working. He only gets about 10 minutes of play and it's no longer charged to use. I even bought a second one thinking the first one might have been just bad luck, but nope, the same problem. It seems most of these interactive toys are only given 2 to 3 stars. I'm disappointed but more importantly, my pup is even more.

I adopted a 2 year old cat - she’s not much for a lot of the toys I have purchased for her, until this one! At first she seemed very cautious with it - but still followed it around - once I slowed it down (a few different options) she loves to play with it! Great purchase very pleased with it
