we loved this well-illustrated book
As first-time parents, we loved this well-illustrated book, recommended it to one couple, and recently ordered another for an expecting couple in our family. Rather than grouping content by topic, the book is ordered chronologically, starting with Day 1 and progressing throughout the first year. Don't expect to read straight through; there are lots of pictures, sidebars, notes, etc. This makes it easier to find and retain relevant information (as opposed to reading a 100-page section on "Diet and Nutrition"). Provides a thorough treatment of most of the common issues, fun discoveries and concerns you encounter as a new parent.

Love, love, love this book! I purchased this beautiful hard cover book for my daughter who was expecting her first child. Big colorful illustrations! Very interesting & informative! Easy reading ! Love everything about it! This book is huge & a must-have for all new expecting parents! Each chapter is in a different pastel BABY color for easy searching! Love the big size! Worth every penny! This is a very detailed book, almost to detailed if you get overwhelmed easily as a new mom to be like I was. There are amazing pictures, and just about everything is answered here. This also goes great with the pregnancy day by day sister book if you like this much detail.

Love this book!!!
A pregnancy must have! Every day you get to follow along with what your baby is going through. I was so excited not to have to wait for the week mark to read something new. I loved the pictures and advice and information about what baby and I were experiencing and each time a new symptom came alone I opened this book and it would address that topic on that day. I highly recommend it for first time mom-to-be.
