Flippinchi is part of a non-profit literary organization created for charitable purposes, more specifically to promote advancement of the arts, by publishing artistsÕ work and making publications available for purchase to the general public. The organization will distribute collected proceeds from the publications to organizations that advocate relief of the underprivileged.
The books we publish feature several individuals from the flippinchi community that get invited to participate. We look for a talented eye as a prerequisite in addition to being an active member of the community.
The name flippinchi comes from two words, flipping and Chicago. "Flippin" is simply the act of flipping pages of a book, while "Chi" comes from the shortened version of Chicago.
A portion of the proceeds of this publication will be donated to Watts of Love (www.wattsoflove.org).
