My idea was to give this pupil a new exercise for each day, working on different difficulty level of the recorder technique each week.Ê

I guess that it could be useful to concentrate on the study and daily practice of a single exercise, improving speed, portato, staccato and legato techniques (completely, or each pair or each group of the notes), trying also with different rhythms (alternating long and short notes, for example) and at the end trying to be able to play it without reading the score.

But the idea of "daily exercises" is just a suggestion. It is not obligatory at all to go to the next exercise each day! The pupil should practice and master each exercise before practicing the next one.

I am also publishing my 24 preludes in the major and minor keys in the last pages of the book, because I think that it is very important for a recorder player to be able to play all these keys.
