Martha Graham: The Evolution of Her Dance Theory and Training"Focuses on the celebrated technique, though the stuff of memoir naturally seeps in as well . . . . Marian Horosko brings together new and previously published interviews of Martha Graham's "family" of dancers, teachers, choreographers, and actors and interweaves them with provocative biographical material about the life and influence of the creator of classic modern dance.

The interviews testify to the remarkable legacy that inspired the careers of many in the dance world, among them dancers from the contemporary generation who inherited her technique but never saw her perform. The interviews of teachers, all former Graham students, reflect their passion for maintaining Graham's few fixed principles and her emotional integrity. Some of the foremost actors of Graham's time describe their stormy encounters with her as she attempted to teach them that "movement doesn't lie."

This book offers the only syllabus in print of Graham's work. Drawn from a private film of a class for her advanced and professional company members in the 1960s, it includes comments from Graham and speaks to her use of imagery in teaching. Detailed photographs document the development of Graham's choreographic legacy, which expanded and changed as she created each new work, more than 200 in all. These images, along with the interviews and commentary, plot the evolution of Graham's methodology and vocabulary of movement, on which classical modern dance continues to rely.

Scent and application does not irritate my very sensitive lungs and skin
I am having excellent luck with this sunblock! I have sensitive skin and am extremely sensitive to some aerosol and scented products. This has not been an issue with me in any way. We do apply this outside for more ventilation. I have not used this on small children. This has primarily been tried by adults in my household. It’s super easy to apply, not oily, and so far is providing sun protection. I have not used this and then entered water. Our use has been for just everyday running around. It has not irritated anyone’s skin and no one has been burned by the sun- so gonna say it’s a win. This is very likely my new brand. I will update this review over the summer with how it holds up at the beach and pool. It’s doing a great job for basic outside recreation and play

Nice refreshing sunscreen
Great spray sunscreen. Don't even notice any difference between this organic sunscreen and regular sunscreen. It sprays nice and evenly and provides good protection for a reasonable time. I've used this during a number of workouts out in the sun, sweating, for a few hours at a time. It sprays pretty lightly on, and stays on. Once it sprays on, while it feels light, you do feel it (like a little sticky on your skin), same as any other sunscreen really though.

Great summer scent, easy to apply, non greasy.
We LOVE spray on sunscreen. So much easier to apply, especially to yourself in the harder to reach areas. My kids like it better too, doesn't take as long so they can get to the fun stuff. This smells great, I love summer scents. It doesn't leave you feeling greasy or like you've just tarred and feathered yourself in cream and then sand. It's an SPF 50, so extra strong and does well at protecting. I do wish it was a little cheaper, so I watch for it go on sale and stock up.

Best sunscreen ever!!!
This is the BEST SUNCREEN. It’s all we use-and I know, I know it’s expensive (standard is $30 a bottle) BUT it does go on sale quite often for like $20 ish which is what competitors run for and this is WAY cleaner. It’s made of a lot of organic ingredients and this one smells summery but they have unscented options too-that’s normally what I get! You can get spf 30 or 50 and they both work so well, never been burned wearing it. It’s a fine spray that goes on clear and dries quick-no white cast, no rubbing in. We live in a hot state that is sunny a lot of the year so we need a good sunscreen year round and this ticks all my boxes. This is the best product coola offers!! My entire family uses it.
