Trading Places present a reissue of Bridget St. John's Ask Me No Questions, originally released in 1969. Blessed with a distinctive voice largely defined by a rich, cello-like timbre, the English singer and guitarist Bridget St. John was brought to the attention of the adventurous guitarist John Martyn by fellow singer Robin Frederick and after being introduced to him by Martyn's poet friend, Pete Roch, was championed by BBC Radio disc jockey John Peel, who formed the Dandelion label in 1969 (with Elektra record-plugger Clive Selwood) specifically to issue St. John's music. Recorded in a brief session that lasted for some nine or ten hours, debut album Ask Me No Questions features Martyn on second guitar on opener "To Be Without A Hitch" and the equally chilling "Curl Your Toes", as well as the haunting title track, while future Fairport Convention and Soft Machine member Ric Sanders appears on "Lizard Tongue Boy" and "Many Happy Returns".

The screws are the best part

OK. So I spend a lot on (and I mean A LOT) on Amazon and I never write reviews. Just not my thing. But I had to write a review for this product. These brackets are fantastic - attractive, sturdy. But what threw me was the screws - they are SUCH high quality. They don't strip or lose their black color at all even when your drill, set to 0 slip, loses grip repeatedly because you drilled the pilot hole too small and are throwing every ounce of your body weight against it to get it to drive. And they give you extra! Like, enough to mount 8.5 brackets in a 6-bracket box. I am saving alllllll of these extra screws; if I could buy them separate I would. It might seem like a small thing but hardware is usually a place companies skimp on HARD, and to be confronted with such quality was truly a breath of fresh air.
The brackets take some mounting expertise to ensure everything is true - lots of measuring and leveling (some minor differences in angle + or - a couple degrees, but they're SOLID. I will be buying these again in the future. Kudos for an awesome product.
