The year is 1980. Leonard Grey, now in his sixth year at a prestigious Southern college, works various jobs to pay for the remaining class hours he needs to graduate. Hired by the athletic department to tutor a superb Black basketball recruit, Lenny becomes ensnared in conflicting conspiracies—one to use the player’s skills for personal and institutional enrichment, the other to preserve the school’s predominantly white athletic teams and tradition of academic excellence.

Discredited by the college, Lenny is hired as a full-time security guard, which entangles him in the details of a local girl’s mysterious disappearance and the murkiness of local politics. This time, however, the young man has a chance to heal the wounds of his own past.

This book is amazing! So great for working on speech and language skills and kids just love it! It's so fun and the illustrations are so adorable! I love that the text is simple and short, it keeps kids attention! I also love the Let's Go Kitty book from this same author!

Excellent board book!
Format: Board book, Format: Board book
"Let's Go, Puppy!" is an excellent board book that teaches early sounds in a fun and interactive way. Each page is filled with vibrant colors and cute illustrations that capture a child's attention and encourage them to learn. I highly recommend, "Let's Go, Puppy!" to parents and caregivers looking for a high-quality resource for teaching early words to young children. Its engaging illustrations and carefully chosen vocabulary make it an excellent choice for children in the early stages of language development.

Amazing!
Format: Board book
I love this book. It's a great book for children with speech issues to use to practice, and it is terrific for early literacy. The story is super cute, and the pictures are awesome. Literally, the only thing that could be improved is if the faces of the parents were shown in all the pages. I don't understand why they are cut off on several pages. Otherwise, I highly recommend!
