This book is a short treatment of a long history. Nebraska has been inundated by ancient seas, carved by glaciers, and settled by ancient cultures who learned to survive in a land prone to extremes of climate. As a state, Nebraska was born out of the Civil War, shaped by railroads, and built by immigrants. Settlers were drawn by promises of free land and abundant rain. They endured droughts and economic depressions. They fought for political reforms, fought world wars, and sometimes fought each other. Along the way Nebraskans chose a unique form of government and re-invented their communities under new conditions. A Brief History of Nebraska is a story of continual change, the back story of the place and people we know today.Binding Type: Paperback

NOT durable (tested by a french bulldog who is not a super chewer)
Color: Beau - The Teddy Bear, Size: One Size
This bear came apart in less than 2 minutes (french bull dog, playing by himself, and not a super chewer) - so I would not consider it durable; and this isn't a fluke, as it's the second one we've tried. We purchased it because we have a Pet Passion Plush Rabbit - which has proven to be durable and has stayed together beautifully - so we do recommend the rabbit. Same dog, same play behavior with both - so it appears the bear is not crafted the same as the rabbit.

Great, durable, cotton toy!
Color: Buffy - The Bunny, Size: One Size, Color: Buffy - The Bunny, Size: One Size
Was on the hunt for dog toys that weren't made of plastic, especially since my dogs try to eat the polyester stuffing. This toy has held up remarkably well to my 2 dogs' play and chewing (Labrador and corgi). Squeaker still works! You can see the wear near the eyes and I'm glad my dog is ingesting a little wool instead of plastic.
