The K&N 69-6000TP Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Mazda Miata and MX-5 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-6000TP air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Direct replacement on my 95 SeaRay 175

My boat started to have issues with not turning over when I used the ignition switch. Replaced the switch and had no effect. Replaced the solenoid and that fixed the problem. Good price, so I replaced all 3 solenoids (Trim/ starter). Solenoids had all needed hardware (nuts/washers)

They Fixed My Boat

My boat wouldn’t start, and the outdrive wouldn’t go up or down. So I bought three of these solenoids and replaced the starter and both trim motor solenoids/relays. Now it starts right up with no problems and the trim motor is working again also. I have a 2006 Stingray boat.

Poor quality

Poor quality. Replaced a starter solenoid on a mercruser 4.3. Right off install it would click but not make a connection to start motor. Confirmed this was the culprit by jumping the terminals. After testing multiple times found it worked a little less than half the time.
