In 2012 Important Records released Reverberations: Tape & Electronic Music 1961-1970 (IMPREC 352CD), a historic 12-CD box set compiling much of Pauline Oliveros' early and unreleased electronic work. Reverberations 1 is the first release in an ongoing series dedicated to releasing the entire 12-CD box set on vinyl. Organized chronologically by studio, the complete Reverberations not only documents Pauline's earliest electronic music but it also functions as an early history of electronic music itself. Pauline Oliveros - composer, performer and humanitarian - was an important pioneer in American music. Acclaimed internationally, for four decades she explored found, forging new ground for herself and others. Through improvisation, electronic music, ritual, teaching and meditation she has created a body of work with such breadth of vision that it profoundly effects those who experience it and it eludes many who try to write about it. In partnership with the Pauline Oliveros Trust, Imprec will be releasing essential titles from Pauline Oliveros' catalog on vinyl including the complete Reverberations box set, Tara's Room, Sounding/Way (with Guy Klucevsek), and many more.

These shoes adequately do the job they're meant to do

For shoes to wear daily for work, these are absolutely perfect. I give four stars simply because they are not 100% perfect; that is, they are a reflection of their cost and durability. With that said, these shoes are perfect for my role as a professor AND a person who walks half a mile from the train station to class and back 5x a week. Comfortable. Nice cushion on the heel. And they look really amazing - classy but not pretentious. I bought a second pair a week after the first just so I could have different colors, and it is likely I will get a third pair. For $40-ish dollars, they do the job they're meant to and they do it well. This picture shown are the originals I bought, but I also got the black pair, too.

Comfortable shoes that still look presentable

I wanted a pair of shoes that were more presentable than regular sneakers but did not feel like stiff dress shoes, and these fit that role well. They have the look of a casual oxford, but the mesh upper makes them feel much lighter and easier to wear. That makes them useful for days when I want to look a little more put-together without sacrificing comfort. They are breathable, easy to walk around in, and work well with casual outfits. The only thing I’d keep in mind is that the mesh material can take a little extra care to keep clean, but that is a reasonable tradeoff for the comfort.

Summertime Comfort
Size: 6.5, Color: Light/Brown
My husband has a small foot and the shoe was a perfect fit for him, size 6 1/2. Normally this is a difficult size to find in a shoe. He was very pleased with the color and weight of the fabric. The fabric is breathable and lightweight. The shoes are very well constructed with a nice solid heel and sole. They are a perfect summertime shoe. The shoes will go well with shorts or casual trousers.
