A treat for Police car enthusiasts comes with this three-piece set of models from the Metropolitan Police, made up with a Land Rover Discovery, a Vauxhall Vectra and a Jaguar XJS.

The first in the set comprises 76LRD007 Land Rover Discovery 3 which has been a popular choice of vehicle for use by the Police and other emergency services across the UK. This 1:76 scale replica is registered BX10 LCT and comes decorated with a silver body and a wealth of muted black trim and tinted rear window, note the solid roof on this version and the detailed blue/red roof light bar with silver top. Both front doors feature the Metropolitan Police name with crest and the slogan 'Working for a Safer London'. Even the Metropolitan Police website is included in the detail! The red and orange Police markings appear along the sides and across the back of the vehicle, while the roof is printed 01 CYR for identification from the air.

Second up is the76VV002 Vauxhall Vectra, it is a replica of a London Metropolitan Police car, registration P199 PYW from 1996. Decorated in bright red, with a blue/silver POLICE lightbar on the roof, the Metropolitan Police markings feature in blue and white on the front passenger and driver door and, so it can be identified from the air, the vehicle has the number 63 printed on the roof in white. Further markings include POLICE printed in bright blue on the front of the bonnet while the rear is marked with a red/orange chevron pattern as well as further POLICE lettering. Apart from silver wheels, the remaining internal and external trim is finished in black.

The Vectra B manufactured between 1995 and 2002 was the last Vauxhall to be made at the Luton plant, where the end of car production was announced in December 2000, taking effect in March 2002, when the plant closed.

The third piece in the set is 76XJS002, a Jaguar XJS. Originally known as the XJ-S, it was classed as a luxury grand tourer, made between 1975 and 1996. The 2-door coupe was manufactured at the firm's Coventry works, where over 115,000 came off the production line before it was superseded by the XJ8 in 1996. Our model is registered A329 KHP and appears in white with red and yellow Police graphics along the sides and the Metropolitan Police crest on the doors. A blue roof lightbar sits on the roof and apart from the silver bumpers, window surrounds, door handles, exhaust and radiator, all other exterior trim is black.

Very good book!
Format: Kindle
I really enjoyed reading “Count my lucky stars”. It was a great sapphic romance - sweet, funny and entertaining. It was the last book in the series and it summed up all the three couples from the series perfectly. I really liked Margot and just the way she is and also I felt for Olivia because I am similar - I usually put other needs above my own. They were just great together - they balanced each other out. Very good read.

Great conclusion to this series!
Format: Paperback
Margot is sure that long-term relationships just aren't for her. Been there. Blew through the tissue box. Wrote the novel. Done that. All her friends found their life mate, and that makes social gatherings a bit awkward now, but it's fine, really. Even the wedding planning she's invited along to with her friends, that's cool. Well, it was, until Olivia, her long lost childhood friend, happens to be a wedding planner they run into. Margot and Olivia's first relationship didn't go so well, and Olivia has since been married and divorced. Margot thinks Olivia is still as much a beautiful goddess as ever, and opportunity knocks when Olivia is stranded with nowhere to go. Margot is happy to offer up a spare room, but even though she and Olivia are getting along swimmingly, and sparks are flying between them, is Olivia what she really wants? When their first voyage into the unknown was capsized, are they fated to be lost at sea once more, or will the stars guide them to a brighter future than they could ever have hoped for? I've followed the stars all the way to the end of the Written in the Stars trilogy, and what have I found? A trio of excellent stories about love, friendship, hardship, communication, and the self. Margot and Olivia make a fun and interesting second chance pairing, with Margot being the prickly pear, and Olivia being really sweet. Margot is rough around the edges partially because she has a difficult time trusting, which I understand, and that along with other factors compounds into miscommunication along the way. While this story can be read as a standalone, I think that readers who've partaken of the first two entries will have plenty to enjoy, with Brendon, Elle, and other favorites returning for their part in Margot and Olivia's story. Margot and Olivia have the opportunity for a second chance, but giving somebody you used to love a second chance is difficult, no? Margot asks a lot of Olivia, and I understand why, but in the end, love is all about taking that uncertain leap in hopes of landing together on your feet. Their intimate scenes are rather spicy, so don't expect anything closed door about their romance. Count Your Lucky Stars is the story of two girls who fell out of love doing their best to find each other again, and I'm counting my own lucky stars for having the pleasure of enjoying this story and these characters across an entire trilogy. Recommended for readers who believe in second chances, enjoy romance between disparate personalities, enjoy sapphic romance, and fans of this friend group's previous two stories, which I also recommend.
