Una din cele mai elegante plante de interior, Phalaenopsis este o alegerea potrivita pentru orice ocazie.

Orhideea Phalaenopsis sau Orhideea molie este o planta epifita cu o tulpina foarte scurta si cu o rozeta din 3-5 frunze mari carnoase asezate in  doua randuri si flori mari deosebit de frumoase.

Planta trebuie tinuta pe geamurile vestice sau estice -acolo unde lumina este dispersata insa intensa, protejata de curentii de aer.  Vara planta are nevoie de nevoie de temperaturi cuprinse intre 25-30 grade iar iarna se recomanda mentinerea temperaturii in intervalul 18-20 grade.

Pe parcursul anului plantele se uda din abundenta, scufundand vasul cu planta pe jumatate in apa pentru 5 minute, lasand apoi apa sa se scurga.

Calitati: dimineaza continutul de compusi organizci volatili din aerul incaperilor.
