In compiling and arranging the contents of this book, the aim has been to put every Christian, and every one desiring to be a Christian, in direct communication with God by placing at their command the choicest and most helpful promises and quotations contained in the Bible.

The vilest sinner will herein find hope; doubts, discouragements, temptations, and trials will be overcome. Following each scriptural quotation is a reference, making it easy to find it in the Bible. The large plain type will enable the reader, at a glance, to grasp the full import of the message on each page.

The author suggests that the reader commit to memory, from this book, at least one verse of Scripture a week and the reference given, and each week repeat all the verses previously memorized. A few months of such practice will place one in command of the richest treasures of the Bible.
